Watches we had in June 2021

To kick things off we started the month with not one, but two platinum Rolex Day-Dates both with ice blue baguette diamond dials. This piece is a personal favourite, I just love how classy it looks whilst still providing the monochrome features from a distance. However whilst taking a closer look at the timepiece, you discover the true complexity that has been implicated to the design of the watch. The baguette diamonds are the perfect accompanists for the beautiful ice blue dial which glistens under the sun. Sitting on the presidential bracelet and fastening on a crown clasp this masterpiece is the definition of class.

As well as the platinum Day-Dates, shortly after, we acquired a rose gold Day-Date with an olive green dial. This magnificent piece enabled the tremendous trio of Day-Dates that we featured on our social media pages.

Progressing through the month and after the Day-Dates had been sent to their proud new owners, we had a new piece arrive. This was a 2015 Rolex Datejust41 with a bimetal stainless steel and yellow gold finish. This featured a 41mm case with a Wimbledon dial which was housed by a fluted bezel. This sat on an oyster bracelet and fastened on a folding clasp. It was the 150th anniversary of the date on which the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Act 1871 received Royal Assent. Therefore this was a very relevant timepiece for the occasion.

Marking the middle point of the month, we sourced another rose gold Day-Date with an olive green dial for a client. This piece was in and out of the office in the same day as we wanted to ensure the customer received their new watch as soon as possible. Days later we sourced and sold another beautiful platinum Rolex Day-Date with a baguette diamond ice blue dial. This was also sent out to our client on the same day.

Nearing the end of the month, we got our hands on two brand new Rolex Daytona’s with black dials and a black ceramic fixed bezel on a stainless steel oyster bracelet. These are very popular among the watch community so they didn’t stay in our possession for long!

What a month this has been, but we’re not done yet! Another piece we had in and out our doors quick was the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore finished in stainless steel with a navy dial featuring a chronograph. This sat on a navy rubber strap. Shortly after this, we sourced a Rolex bimetal Datejust41 on a jubilee bracelet with a Sun Dust dial.

To bring the month to an end we had two big pieces in stock. This was a Rolex Day-Date36 with a one of one Mother Pearl dial.

This was also finished in yellow gold to complete its prestigious appearance. Last and certainly not least, we had the Patek Philippe 5905R which sat on an alligator leather strap. This was sourced and sold to the client within less than a week. That concludes our busy month full of high end timepieces here at One World Different Times.
